Chapter held in Kuwait

Dear Brethren,
Before I get down to business I would like to send my thanks to all the
brothers from the Lodge and Kena Shrine that have sent me
letters of encouragement and care packages.
Believe me, without the support from family and
the brethren there is no way in the world I would have been able to make
it out here. From the bottom of my heart I Thank
You.
And now back to business tonight at 6:53pm
Sunday, October 19, 2003, Expeditionary Chapter No. 353 had its first
official meeting in Kuwait. With three
in attendance Larry Rodriguez (President), William Hollingsworth (Secretary),
Luis Rodriguez (acting Marshal/Chaplain). One of the most important
things that happened during the meeting is that my self and William
took our obligation as Sojourners. The meeting was very
fun and exciting.
Hopefully this is just the beginning of many more Masonic works over
here in Kuwait. Our next project that we will be
working on that was discussed in the meeting was
the opening Kuwait’s very first Blue Lodge Brother William has the
information needed on starting this new project.
Potentate at Kena Shrine as soon as we get the Sojourners
and Blue Lodge up I promise I will start working
on opening a Shrine club over here. :)
I will keep all of you posted on our Masonic works over here in
beautiful Kuwait. Only with
God’s help will we be able to do the best job we can out here and
make it back home safe. So keep us all in your prayers.
